"Fun-et-ic" Spelling
Becca is learning to spell things phonetically. Today, she announced, "Look, mama! I spelled 'actually!'"

That is adorable. What a smart little girl you have there! I wish I could be a fly on the wall in your house to see how you inspire such enthusiasm for learning.
I'm not completely sure either! We read a ton, and do lots of pretending and imagining. I guess I sort of naturally teach all the time - whenever there is something they are curious about or something I think they would enjoy, the teacher in me comes out and starts explaining. In fact, I sometimes have to restrain myself from "teaching" my friends things I've learned that I find exciting, when they have no interest at all!
